IELTS is the ‘International English Language Testing System’; it tests all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking. IELTS is recognized by over 9,000 organizations (including, universities, companies and governments) in 145 countries. There are two tests available:

The test is delivered in partnership with the Instituto Cervantes in charge of organizing the exams, and the University of Salamanca in charge of the preparation, correction and final evaluation of all the tests.

The CILS Exam (Certificazione di Italiano come Lingua Straniera) is the definitive proficiency examination to prove competence in Italian. The CILS test is held twice a year in June and December.
