We are hiring a HR Manager!

 

Our team has an immediate need for a talented and motivated HR Manager in Dubai. Responsibilities:

  • Manage all employment terms and conditions; formulating employment contracts and liaising with line managers accordingly on the agreed terms
  • Manage and liaise with the HR team to ensure all HR activities pre and post employee induction are completed on a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage the allocation of appropriate job levels and grades to jobs in line with the General Manager and Senior Management approvals

 

Recruitment

  • Responsible for the management and support on the full recruitment cycle
  • Responsible for keeping abreast of the Labour law changes and updates, and ensuring compliance in all dealings
  • Develop new and creative recruiting ideas on sourcing strategies in order to ensure the best possible talent is selected and recruited in a timely and efficient manner and in line with the business’ requirements, manpower plans and business standards
  • Manage and develop all recruitment plans to ensure the best quality candidates are recruited and to avoid costly bad hires
  • Design and implement a Recruitment strategy that supports the values and culture
  • Design and implement an On-Boarding Manual and work with Senior Managers to develop induction presentations on the activities in their specific Department and Division
  • Maintain an excellent database of paid and free recruiting sources and take initiative for recruitment strategies.
  • Assist in all interviews at a junior to mid-level; (in person, via phone or skype).
  • Responsible for researching and recommending new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Attend recruitment fairs and events for both recruitment and marketing Eton Institute in the recruitment space
  • Responsible for providing recommendations to the hiring managers on best sourcing activities to use for the recruitment of specific roles
  • Responsible to make sure that all job offer details are in line with the manpower plans, compensation structure and signed off by the General Manager
  • Responsible for providing all job offers to the selected candidates (temporary and permanent) and communicate the job offers accordingly
  • Keep up to date with developments in the Recruitment space in terms of new methods, systems and processes to constantly improve existing Recruitment processes and procedures

 

Policies and Procedures

  • Develop all Policies and Procedures related to all recruitment and onboarding activities
  • Manage the communication and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Manage the maintenance of all Policies and Procedures in line with regional and global market practices and legal requirements
  • Manage day to day operations of the HR team through weekly meetings with set agenda
  • Work closely with the General Manager to ensure company goals, objectives and budgets are achieved
  • Propose new Human Resources Policies and Procedures which support the business growth and its employees, also identify areas of improvement
  • Submit proposed HR Policies and Procedures to the General Manager
  • Responsible for developing a Training & Career Development Policy and process to ensure smooth functioning of the Training & Development requirements and activities
  • Review HR Files and Records in preparation of Accreditations and inspections

 

Medical Insurance:

  • Responsible for the constant updating and timely annual review and renewal of the medical insurance schemes.
  • Research and recommend better value quotes before renewing

 

Performance Management & Reviews

  • Responsible for the management of the PMS cycle (meeting details and scheduling/set reminders for process on HR calendar)
  • Ensure leadership training and implementation of PMS cycle
  • Respond to any queries relating the PMS process and meetings
  • Manage the issuance and maintenance of all PMS documents
  • Responsible for the management of the productivity of all HR and Facilities team members

 

Employee Engagement Surveys

  • Manage and administer an annual Employee Engagement Survey
  • Think creatively and implement schemes to insure excellent team spirit and engagement in all branches

 

Compensation & Benefits Structures

  • Assist in formulating a Reward Philosophy
  • Review compensation and benefits structure on an annual basis making sure that it is in line with the markets enabling successful recruitment, retention and recognition of all employees
  • Address any issues with the General Manager and put forward recommendations
  • Manage the Grading, Titles, and Compensation Structure
  • Assist in the development of variable pay schemes/ reward schemes for continued recognition and retention of its employees
  • Request, follow up and assist in the market research for regional teacher pay, always aware of trends
  • Actively research during interviews and with existing teachers

 

       Discipline, Grievance and Leavers

  • Manage all employee grievances according to policies
  • Monitor all disciplinary processes and act as an intermediate regarding escalating all disciplinary concerns and matters
  • Report and follow up accordingly with the General Manager on all cases and matters
  • Oversee all exit interviews and maintain the Attrition/Turnover Report accordingly for senior management (present Annual report on reason for leaving)

 

Facilities

  • Oversee the management of the day-to-day facilities operations
  • Manage the office administration of Immigration matters for relating to all visas, labour cards, business visas, IDs, legal documents.
  • Manage the essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling
  • Manage all offices are in line with all HSE and operational standards
  • Manage the Site Officers team to cover various areas of responsibility

 

General Activities

  • Manage staff leave, interpret and administer staff leave. Formulate and adopt leave policies in accordance with the applicable employment laws. Oversee the coordination and administration for all leave of absence cases
  • Oversee HR approval and/or denial of leave cases based on relevant information
  • Responsible for maintaining and keeping the Organisation Structure updated
  • Cover any absences for the HR department
  • Assist and support all duties within the HR Department where required
  • Be available for all employee concerns, questions and matters
  • Propose new ideas on HR, Recruitment, & Training matters that would enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR Department
  • Meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Create a positive and collaborative team atmosphere
