Free Workshop: Living and Working in the UAE
May 17, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
A survey conducted by the Ministry of Interior concluded that 7 out of 10 expatriates are unaware about the local culture, traditions and etiquette of the UAE. Additionally, a research conducted by Dr. Dala Farouki, Chief Strategy Officer of Valour Ventures, states that there is a rise in misunderstanding about the UAE among the expatriate community.
For expatriates migrating to the UAE for employment, business or otherwise, it is vital to be aware of the culture and etiquette that envelops the nation. The UAE is a melting pot of traditions and values, with residents from over 200 nationalities. Despite the multicultural population of the nation, with over 80% being expatriates, the UAE has retained its unique culture, traditions, values and norms firmly.
